Dr. Bradley D Meyer is an accomplished audio director with over 28 years experience having managed the audio departments at Berkeley Systems, Shaba Games, Free Range Games, and currently, Sucker Punch Productions. He was also a lead sound designer at Konami. In his career, Brad has worked on most pieces of hardware from cellphones to consoles to PCs on franchises such as <em>inFAMOUS, Spider-Man,&nbsp;<\/em><em>Shrek, <\/em><em>Tony Hawk<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Frogger<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Dance Dance Revolution<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>You Don&#8217;t Know Jack<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s fortunate enough to have lead the team that won both the BAFTA and D.I.C.E awards for best Audio in 2020 for <em>Ghost of Tsushima<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brad has a keen interest in interactive audio systems and strives to push the technological envelope of each platform while designing meaningfully emotional soundscapes. He has extensive knowledge and experience in systems design and technical sound design and is proficient in several scripting languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides mentoring extensively to share as much of his experience as possible, Brad has been a frequent contributor to <a href=\"http:\/\/gamasutra.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gamedeveloper.com\/<\/a>Game Developer magazine, a contributing editor at <a href=\"http:\/\/designingsound.org\">designingsound.org<\/a>, and has been featured in books such as <em>Game Audio Mixing<\/em>  by Alex Riviere and the <em>Complete Guide to Game Audio<\/em> by Aaron Marks. Brad has lectured extensively on game audio at conferences and universities worldwide, appeared on numerous podcasts including <em>Beards, Cats, and Indie Game Audio<\/em>, <em>The Sound Architect<\/em>, <em>On Work with Joel G<\/em>, and <em>Game Maker&#8217;s Notebook<\/em>, and served on the Program Advisory Committee for the Audio Production department at the Art Institute of California, San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brad is an ordained minister and a doctor of metaphysics <em>and<\/em> immortality, so he can talk about the constructs of our physical realm or marry you to any human of your choosing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dr. Rev.
